How it works

From a short questionnaire to a private model you judge against your own photographs. Here's every step.

Six steps

  1. Tell us about your work

A 10-minute questionnaire about what you shoot, who your clients are, and how AI is affecting your business. Skip anything you'd rather not share.

  2. Choose your images

You send 150 to 200 finished photographs. Together we pick the 30 to 50 that best show your style for training, and set aside 10 to 20 more for testing.

  3. Sign a short agreement

Before any image changes hands, we both sign a plain-language agreement covering ownership, privacy, and deletion.

  4. We train your private model

We train it only on the images you approved. You don't need any equipment or technical knowledge.

  5. You judge the results

We compare the model's images side by side with your real work, including photographs the model never saw. You decide whether it's good enough to use.

  6. Try it with one client

If you're happy with it, we test it with one of your clients for the rest of the pilot.

What the pilot costs

Nothing. In return, we ask for honest feedback and some of your time to review results.

The pilot runs about 60 days. When it ends, your images and model are deleted unless we both sign a new agreement.

We don't build an AI from scratch

Your model is a small style add-on trained on top of an existing image model that's licensed for commercial use. That keeps costs low, and it means your model can be deleted completely if you ask.

Questions photographers ask

Will this replace my shoots?

It's meant to win back work clients are already sending to generic AI tools, like quick social images and variations. Shoots still capture the real moments, and they're what your model learns from.

Who owns the images it makes?

You keep all rights to your photographs. Under current U.S. law, images made by AI without meaningful human editing may not be protected by copyright, so no one can promise exclusive rights in raw AI output. Your editing and retouching strengthen that position, which is one reason you finish every image.

Can I stop?

Yes, anytime. Ask, and we'll delete your images and your model within 14 days and confirm in writing.

Does it work for weddings, portraits, or other specialties?

It works for any style you shoot consistently. If you shoot two very different looks, that's two separate models. Photos of identifiable people are only used if your releases cover this kind of use.

Which AI model is underneath?

We're choosing it through testing, for image quality and for a license that allows commercial use. You'll know exactly which one before you sign anything.

How are the images labeled?

Every image will carry a visible "AI image" label and embedded content credentials that record how it was made. More on labeling
